VIDEO: Authorities 'racing against the clock'

Malaysia has announced an extra $142m (£92m) to help victims of the country’s worst flooding in decades.

At least five people have been killed in the floods along Malaysia’s east coast, with over 160,000 displaced.

The BBC’s Jennifer Pak in Kota Bharu said that authorities were “racing against the clock” to try to get supplies to flood victims in communities cut off by the floods.
